This simple breastplate is a prime example of what was worn on the battlefield during this period - often combined with arms or mittens over gambeson and tabards – giving those warriors an extra layer of protection needed for survival.
• Made of 1.6mm steel; thickness may vary due to the handcrafted methods
• Steel is untreated but can be protected with mineral or synthetic oil if desired
• Has a satin finish so its surface will be slightly reflective
• One size which can be adapted to fit several sizes
